Fields, or columns in the document grid, can be added in several ways.
A field can be added to a workspace via the Field Setup dialog.
This dialog allows you to add and delete fields from your workspace.
Export Mask applies to Boolean, Date, Time, and Date Time data types. Selecting an export mask for these types of fields restricts the data entered into those cells to a specific format, such as MM/dd/yyyy for the Date type.
Fields can also be added to the workspace via the Batch Update feature.
The example below will add a new field called "NEWFIELD" to the workspace, and it will populate checked documents with the value entered into the Field Value box.
