We have made several enhancements and features as outlined below. To see a full list of changes in ReadySuite v7.4.1, view the entire release notes here.

Let’s dive into the highlights of this release:

Chat HTML Export
We’re including a new export format for chat data to go alongside Relativity RSMF output in this release – HTML.

Using the new HTML format, you can output chat conversations with attachments inline for image and audio files. We’ve setup the feature with a customizable template – giving you full control of the output display style with a little CSS/HTML editing.

When using the HTML export option, you can take advantage of the same chat and RSMF features outlined here. The only difference is – you can select the HTML format by itself or, in addition to, RSMF file output. Our built-in HTML template supports chat message direction, timestamps in local and UTC time zones, inline attachments, and additional metadata properties.

Grid – Delay Filter Updates
We’ve introduced a new option for delaying/deferring updates on the document grid when there are active filters.

For example, when modifying a field with a filter applied, an updated value could cause a document to no longer be included in the viewable and filtered set of documents. With this new option, the documents shown on the grid can remain until either the filter is modified, updated, removed, or the ‘Refresh Data’ button is clicked.

Batch Edit – Delay Filter Updates
Expanding on the new option above – you’ll be able to toggle the ‘Delay Filter Updates’ option when performing Batch Edits.

Under the Options menu, you’ll see the new setting. Note that this is an application-wide option, so turning it on or off here will affect how documents in the grid are refreshed with active filters applied.

Folder Viewer
A couple improvements to our newest Folder Viewer addition – the document counts alongside folders will be more readable when you have many documents in a folder. In addition, you can easily add a filter from a folder by just double-clicking on the folder name.

Column Icons – Dynamic & Scripted Fields
We’ve added icons to the Document Grid for both dynamic and scripted fields. When using either one of these field types, it will be easier to identify columns where the values are calculated based on the values in other fields. In the below example, we’ve added a dynamic date field for Month Sent which is getting its value from DateSent. We’ve also added Recipient Count, using the ‘Count Choices’ scripted field, and Source Path, using the ‘Combine Paths’ scripted field.

Refreshed Icons
While not a functional difference, you’ll notice we refreshed several icons used in ReadySuite’s ribbon.

Scripted Fields
Did you know ReadySuite has scriptable fields? First introduced in our ReadySuite 7.0 release, these fields are now easily accessible and identifiable from the Scripts ribbon menu.

Batch Documents by Max Pages
A new script was added to batch documents using page and image counts. Like our ‘Batch Documents’ script, when using this new script, you can still create batches of documents. But this will utilize the total page count of a document in the size of the batch.

Propagate Choices by Family Level
We’ve updated our choice propagation script to include a new child value annotation option. Using this option, when new values are encountered within a family level, an annotation or suffix character will be applied to easily identify these propagated values. In the below example, you’ll see the ^ character applied through the family propagation when they don’t appear at the prior level.
